L’agence FIELD a été invitée à réfléchir aux possibilités illimitées de l’impression de créations digitales. Ces derniers ont proposé la création de 10 000 artworks pour la brochure de GF Smith. Une idée utilisant une sculpture complexe générée afin de créer des œuvres uniques à découvrir dans la suite en images.

knock knock interactive wooden calculator by khalil klouche
developed by geneva-based designer khalil klouche, the interactive wooden calculator for children uses playful knocking sounds to answer mathematical equations. originally exhibited during ‘touch!’ at lausanne’s museum of design and contemporary art in 2012, the project, ‘knock knock’, uses an arduino board, contact microphones, and solenoid components to solve problems. the installation responds when users ‘knock’ out a calculation on device surface, ‘knocking’ back with the answer.

chineasy visual language illustrations by noma bar + shao lan
taiwanese artist shao lan has developed ‘chineasy’, a method which allows non-chinese readers to learn the written language by understanding the basic letter-form and meaning in a visual manner.once a few groups of primary cornerstone chinese characters known as radicals can be recognized, users are then able to combine the symbols and easily learn dozens of additional shapes and expressions.

HENSE: lima installation
HENSE recently finished his largest installation to date in lima, peru, which measures 40m tall and 50m wide. The project was organized by morbo gallery and funded by the ISIL institute in miraflores, Lima. HENSE worked with my head assistant and a crew of 10 professional painters over the course of a month to complete the work.
